Attendance
If your child is absent from school, please send a note with them on the day they return. Ensure the note includes your child’s name, the date(s) of absence, and a brief explanation. A doctor’s note is only required if requested by the social worker. You will receive automated absence phone calls from Cobb County School District (CCSD) until your child returns to school.
To be marked present, a student must remain at school until 11:05 AM or for at least 3 hours and 15 minutes.
