History
DeSana Middle School, named in honor of Jim and Jeanne DeSana, pays tribute to their remarkable contributions. Mr. DeSana, an engineer at General Motors, was not only a talented self-taught pianist but also an inventor and artist. Mrs. DeSana, a genetic scientist, made significant contributions at Emory University and later within the State of Georgia. Their dedication to education extended through their extensive volunteer work with Forsyth County Schools. As a result, collaborations with Forsyth Central High School drama students and Otwell Middle School’s school council. They played vital roles in initiatives such as the district’s inaugural Strategic Plan, and the Partners in Education Committee, and were pivotal in founding the LEADER program. In 1997, they established a scholarship program with their life savings, which has since provided over $250,000 in financial support to graduating seniors in Forsyth County Schools.
DaSana Middle School Infinite Campus

To gain access to Infinite Campus, parents or guardians of current Forsyth County Schools students must have a Parent Portal account.
