Mary Lin Elementary School, established in 1929 under the Atlanta Public School system, honors the legacy of its principal of 27 years, Miss Mary Lin. Situated in the vibrant Candler Park Community, adjacent to the picturesque Candler Park golf course and merely two miles from downtown Atlanta, we serve students from the Candler Park, Inman Park, and Lake Claire neighborhoods.
With a student body exceeding 650 students spanning kindergarten through fifth grade, Mary Lin Elementary delivers a world-class academic experience. Renowned as one of the premier elementary schools in the Atlanta Public Schools system, our students progress to Howard Middle School and Midtown High School.

What does our PTA do?
OUR MISSION…to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging our families and communities to advocate for all children.
We want to involve you in your children’s education. Our goal is not to simply fundraise but to support Mary Lin and our teachers by providing our students with the best learning environment possible.
OUR PTA BOARD
The PTA Elected Officers consist of the President (or co-Presidents), Vice President (VP), Secretary, and Treasurer. These officers are elected during the April PTA meeting, and their term spans one year, from the last day of school to the following last day of school.
JOIN OUR PTA
PTA membership is annual and requires renewal at the beginning of each new school year. Each individual membership grants one voting privilege. PTA dues encompass a portion allocated for state and national offices. In exchange, our local PTA and its members gain access to a plethora of valuable resources, information, and training programs.
