About Pickett’s Mill Elementary School

Pickett’s Mill Elementary embarked on its journey in 2008 as a Leader in Me School, adopting a leadership model rooted in Steven Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. In 2013, we proudly attained Lighthouse Status, the pinnacle recognition among Leader in Me schools.

As a STEM certified institution, our teachers integrate STEM principles into their classrooms, fostering a dynamic learning environment. Students engage in STEM lessons within our dedicated STEM Lab and encounter STEM challenges in their day-to-day classroom activities. To enrich their STEM experiences, we host quarterly STEM days and offer monthly at-home STEM challenges.

After School Program

Our After School Program (ASP) offers a secure, enjoyable, and supportive environment for elementary students within the Cobb County School District who participate in Face-to-Face instruction. We operate from after school until 6:00 PM on regular school days, including early release days. Please note, we do not operate on Student Holidays or District holidays, and closures may occur due to inclement weather following the District’s announcement. It’s important to know that ASP is self-sustaining and does not receive taxpayer funds.

An annual non-refundable registration fee of $20
Weekly invoiced attendance fee of $10 per day, per child
Convenient registration, account management, and payment options accessible on any device
Access to view and print invoices, receipts, and annual tax statements
Secure and hassle-free digital payment methods
Payment Details:
To streamline our payment process, we’ve partnered with Eleyo to offer user-friendly, mobile-responsive technology for online registration, account management, and payments. Please note that online payments made via credit card or ACH/electronic check will incur a 4.75% processing/program fee. However, payments made in cash or by check directly to your school’s program do not have any additional fees. For more information, please consult your school’s ASP Director.

Enrollment:
Before your elementary school-aged student can participate in ASP, enrollment through Eleyo must be completed. The Enrolling Adult, as defined by Cobb County School District Policy, should register for an Eleyo account and submit a contract for each student. The Enrolling Adult is the parent/guardian with whom the student resides and who enrolled the student in school.
