South Forsyth Middle History
Originally constructed as an expansion of the former South Forsyth Junior High School, the inception of this new segment enabled the division of the facility into distinct middle and high school entities, alleviating student overcrowding. Mr. Robert Otwell assumed the role of the school’s inaugural principal. In 1998, a new South Forsyth Middle School was erected, showcasing a pioneering construction prototype that has since been replicated numerous times countywide and adapted into a two-story configuration. Subsequent to classroom expansions in 2002, the facility underwent further enhancements during the 2015-2016 academic year, aimed at better serving the community and our student body.

Head north on GA-400.
Take exit 13 for GA-141/Peachtree Parkway.
Keep right at the fork, following signs for GA-141.
Turn right onto Peachtree Parkway/GA-141.
At the fourth traffic light, turn left onto Sharon Road.
Sharon Road will lead you to Old Atlanta Road.
Continue straight until you reach the traffic light at Windermere.
Turn left onto Windermere Parkway.
At the first red light, turn left into the school.
